Home Mortgage Discovery Act requires lending institutions to make annual disclosures of their home mortgage and home improvement lending activity. Disclosures are publicly available on the Web. In addition to each institution's individual disclosure statement, aggregate tables covering the lending activity of all institutions subject to HMDA in a particular Metropolitan Statistical Area / Metropolitan Division (MSA/MD) are available online. The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council's (FFIEC) manages the data.

  • For State/Metro area level, click the Aggregate Report link. You can choose a year (2011-1999). Then choose Mississippi. Then choose Jackson. Click the link that says “Select All Tables for MSA/MD” This will give you a list of applications, approvals, denials and lots more. If you prefer, you can get the data just one table at a time. There are 49 different tables of data.
