*Who can checkout equipment?
Library AV equipment use policies are dictated by the user's status and the reason for borrowing the equipment:
- Faculty may check out and use AV equipment for classroom presentations or for a campus presentation in which they are participating. Generally, equipment is checked out one hour before a class session, and the loan period is restricted to that time period.
- Staff may check out AV equipment for a job-related presentation or for a campus presentation in which they are participating. Similar to faculty guidelines, the loan period is generally restricted to the time of the presentation and should be promptly returned.
- Students may check out video cameras and camera accessories for class assignments, but may not check out TVs, DVDs, VCRs, CD Players, Laptops or projectors unless their faculty advisor or instructor makes the reservation and takes responsibility for the equipment.
NOTE: Until the equipment is checked back in, the user is responsible for that equipment.
