Problems opening PDF files?
If you get a blank screen or an error that has a % in it, you most likely have an old version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Call helpdesk and have them update Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer.
Reusing Course Material
Each semester you will need to email helpdesk@millsaps.edu and have them set up your courses. Course Connect has a feature called ‘import’ that will allow you to reuse course material from a previous semester.
Using the Course Connect Online Gradebook
The gradebook can be difficult to set up. Call Molly McManus at x1086 if you need help.
The first step is to match your grading scenario with one of the following:
- Setting up the Gradebook for Weighted Categories (MS Word)
- Setting up the Gradebook for a Point Scale file (MS Word)
- Setting up the Gradebook for a fixed course total (MS Word)
After you have set up the gradebook, you may want to follow these instructions to add a ‘fake student’ so that you can see if the calculations are correct.
- Adding ‘fake’ students to test your gradebook settings (MS Word)
- Additional gradebook documentation (Other grading scenarios, extra credit, exporting, etc…) (MS Word)
