Our New York Times archive on microfilm goes back to the very first issue. Ask for it at the library front desk.

New York Times on Paper (current three months)

We get the New York times delivered each morning and keep the current three months.

Wall Street Journal Online (1984 - present)

The complete text of articles back to 1980 is provided online.

Wall Street Journal on Microfilm (1970 - 2007)

We have the Wall Street Journal in microfilm from 1970-2007. Ask for it at the library front desk.

Wall Street Journal on Paper (current three months)

We get the Wall Street Journal delivered each morning and keep the current three months.

Next to each printer in the library, there is a bin to collect one-side-used paper.  Please put separator sheets, things you print by mistake or any paper that is in good condition and only printed on one side into the bins (print side down).  Papers that are not picked up from the printer will be put in this bin by library staff, so make sure to pick up your print jobs!

2.  Reuse one-side-used paper

If you need paper, take some out of the bin.  The paper is great for notes.  There is a stapler next to the printer if you want to staple some paper together to make a notepad.  There is a three hole punch next to the printer if you would like to hole punch it and put it in a binder.

3. Give away the excess

* Take some paper out of the reuse bin for your home/dorm printer.  Take some for your siblings/kids to draw on.

* The library is looking for organizations that need one-side-used paper.  Sometimes childcare centers are looking for scrap paper for children to draw on.  Please let us know if you know of an organization that might benefit from donated scrap paper.

Millsaps Library will be offering workshops in a format similar to the writing center workshops. Beginning Monday, Sept. 3, each week of the Fall 2007 semester, 30-minute library research workshops will be offered Monday-Thursday in the Millsaps Room at the library:

Mondays 4 - 4:30 p.m.

Tuesdays Noon - 12:30 p.m.

Wednesdays 6 - 6:30 p.m.

Thursdays Noon - 12:30 p.m.

Encyclopaedia Judaica

Provides an exhaustive and organized overview of Jewish life and knowledge from the Second Temple period to the contemporary State of Israel, from Rabbinic to modern Yiddish literature, from Kabbalah to “Americana�? and from Zionism to the contribution of Jews to world cultures, Encyclopaedia Judaica, 2nd edition is important to scholars, general readers and students.

There are shelves in the lower level of the library with books for sale. Hardbacks are $1.00, paperbacks are 50 cents. If you find something you want, take it to the front desk in the library to pay for it. The shelves will be restocked as they empty, so check back every so often.
